The Trades Hall
Situated in the Merchant City - the heart of Glasgow, the Trades Hall is one of the most important historic buildings in Glasgow. The Trades Hall is an ideal venue for events such as dinners, conferences, weddings and meetings. Within this venue The Grand Hall is an opulent setting for all types of functions. Let your event benefit from the prestigious ambience of the original Adam features and late Victorian decor.
A fascinating gilt-painted frieze depicting the Trades of Glasgow runs round the hall, which can hold up to 230 seated for dinners. The Saloon on the other hand can hold up to 100 people for receptions or 60 for dinners. It adjoins the Grand Hall making it suitable for your pre-dinner drinks reception or as a breakout room. The Saloon features mahogany-panelled walls inscribed with gilt lettering, three stained glass windows, baroque electroliers and a white marble Adam fireplace, ideal as a background for memorable photography.
