About Bapu Hospitality

About Bapu Hospitality - Bapu Hospitality is an organic extension from two of the most highly acclaimed Indian restaurants in Glasgow - The Dhabba and Dakhin.

The Dhabba Ltd started life on the 6th December 2002 in the heart of Glasgow's buzzing Merchant City with its first offering of Authentic North Indian Cuisine to its unsuspecting patrons. The tiring anticipation for an authentic Indian meal was finally rewarded by The Dhabba for which it has received much accolade and response. Since its inception The Dhabba has been selected by local and national press to be not only a "Milestone" but also a glimpse of what sub-continental cuisine can offer.

The success and appraisal of The Dhabba has not only been reinforced but also complimented by the introduction of its sister restaurant - Dakhin. Located almost directly opposite from The Dhabba, it has boldly brought South Indian Cuisine into the limelight. The only one of it's kind not only in Glasgow but in Scotland. Dakhin provides an array of culinary delights from the four Southern most States of the Indian sub-continent - Andra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerela and Tamil Nadu. Introducing an authentic North and South Indian restaurant in such close proximity provides an enormous gravity of presence in Glasgow, enabling us to not only educate the underexposed public but to reassure them of our individuality. A position which gives us an enormous responsibility. New additions to the family business of restaurants are The Gate and Secret Garden www.gatetothegarden.com offering the first fusion tapas restaurant (50 seat restaurant offering Asia-Pacific cuisine) in Glasgow
